As a doula, I am there to provide you with loving, supportive energy, helping you manage the intensity of the birthing process, in whatever kind of birth you wish to have. I am also there to provide assistance to your partner, making sure that they are as much a part of the process as they’d like to be. I offer touch, words of encouragement, birthing position suggestions, help with breathing, visualization techniques, and pain management through massage and the use of a rebozo (a type of shawl that comes from the indigenous women of central and South America). I am there to help you self-advocate, encourage you to stick to your birth plan, remind you of all that is important to you, and be there for any other tasks that fall within my jurisdiction.
As a doula I do not: advocate for you, perform any medical or clinical tasks, make decisions for you, or judge you in regard to your birth plan.
This includes a couple of prenatal visits, doula service during labor, birth, and immediate postpartum, and at least one follow-up visit once baby is born.

Out of my area or in need of some last-minute support? I can provide remote doula care via Zoom, Facebook Messenger or Whatsapp. Contact me via text, phone call or email for more information.
Accompaniment to your abortion appointment. I provide emotional support, comfort and a safe environment.
I am always happy to take photographs during labor and birth, as long as it does not take away from the care I am providing.
Have questions that are outside the scope of my practice? I am happy to do research with you and for you, and refer you to those who can care for you in the ways you need.
